Manufacturers of over the counter moisturizers or lotions add water to their oils in addition to other unnecessary ingredients which requires a preservative. Have you looked at the label and could not figure out how to pronounce or identify what the ingredient was? Our Oils do not have any water or preservatives so there is less chance for a reaction to the added chemicals and pure oil is the best moisturizer for your skin.
